Combat deck
Combat cards attack enemies, apply effects and help recover health. The game is designed around aggressive combinations and eating enemies rather than relying on a conventional block-card loop.
Exploration deck
Explore cards govern interactions between encounters. Public launch footage and reporting show tools for digging, opening routes, preparing camps and gaining resources. These actions use stamina, so their order matters.
The connection between them
Exploration can unlock weapons, abilities and card modifications for combat. Combat, in turn, refreshes exploration stamina. The useful question is not which deck is stronger, but whether the next exploration choice makes the next fight safer.
A first-run decision filter
Before adding or using a card, ask whether it opens the route, protects health, or strengthens the current damage plan. If it does none of those, it may be a distraction.
