Why focused growth wins early

The official store describes cards growing into extreme, game-breaking versions. Repeated investment raises the value of drawing the same core card, while extra low-impact cards reduce that consistency.

Build the floor before the ceiling

A spectacular multiplier does not help if the deck cannot survive ordinary encounters. Establish dependable damage and recovery first; add high-ceiling setup after the basic loop works.

When to take a new card

Take a reward when it improves the current engine, fixes recovery, or answers a problem your deck cannot handle. Skipping a merely interesting card can be the stronger upgrade.

Version warning

Early Access balance and card pools will change. Shroom & Gloom Guide separates durable system explanations from card-specific rankings and dates every review.
